Hi, I am Annika.
I share from a place of honesty - what I have learned, what has helped me and others around me. I am a deeply intuitive, compassionate and grounded woman. On this page you can get to know me a little better. CAREER PATH I have been a self-employed business owner for 13 years. I am a professional photographer and I have always loved to work with people. I started teaching yoga and gentle breathing techniques almost 7 years ago and I've been guiding meditations for 8 years. I am originally from Estonia and now live in Bali. During my career in Estonia I opened and designed two beautiful studios called MANTRA. These spaces were created for photoshoots, yoga, meditation and all kinds of community gatherings and celebrations. |
Everyone who visited MANTRA studio said there was something special about the place, that could be felt immediately, when you stepped in. I realized that the warm, safe and calm feeling people got from being in those spaces is something I carry within myself. MANTRA studio was my heart space and a material reflection of me. Now I know that I can create a similar feeling anywhere- on the other side of the world, in different rooms and also online through a videocall.
HOW I FOUND MY PURPOSE
Today, I know one of my skills is creating tranquil spaces where people feel supported, present and calm.
The work that I have been most passionate about has always involved supporting people feel more at ease, in their bodies and in their minds. As a photographer I fell in love with working for people. I noticed that my art and our interaction while working together gave them a chance to relax even while feeling vulnerable and eventually see themselves in a whole new light. That gave them a new perspective and a gentler relationship with their self-worth.
My soul lights up every time I can support someone's wellbeing, make them breathe deeper and smile brighter. What began as photoshoots often became therapeutic experiences, not just because of the images, but because people felt comfortable, held, and free to be themselves. I saw how deeply someone can shift when they feel safe, seen, and at ease, and that understanding continues to guide my work today.

HEALING
In 2014, I went through a personal healing journey that changed the way I understand the communication and connection between the mind and body. At the time, I was living with severe allergies and eczema that affected every part of my daily life. I was in constant discomfort, and despite seeking help, I didn’t find the answers I needed. What I didn’t yet understand was how deeply stress, lifestyle, and my diet were influencing my physical well-being.
I began educating myself on how the body actually works. I read countless books about the immune system, psychology, human anatomy, the nervous system, mindful practices, breathwork, alternative medicine, yoga, meditation, and spent years learning through documentaries, lectures, and courses. I started listening more closely to my body, adjusted my eating habits, and included regular meditation and mindfulness practices to my daily life.
Guided meditations and breathing techniques eased my allergy and eczema flare-ups significantly. The flare ups were painful, itchy, swollen and bright red. Mostly it took me only 20-30 minutes of breathwork and meditation to feel much better. It helped by soothing the irritation and inflammation all over my body. In those moments I understood, just how powerful the mind-body connection really is.
After six months of committing fully to my own healing, the eczema had cleared, allergies were under control and my immune system became strong and stable.

BECOMING A MEDITATION &
SOMATIC MOVEMENT GUIDE Experiencing firsthand how effective these practices can be was life-changing for me. I felt a natural pull to share what I had learned. I started with friends and family. They absolutely loved it and found my sessions calming, clarifying, and liberating. Before long, my friends began asking if they could recommend my sessions to others who were also craving more inner peace. What started as informal sessions grew into a beautiful community of like-minded people. MANTRA studio became a safe and supportive space for many. People came to me with anxiety, depression, low self-worth, trauma, chronic pain, and burnout. I never promised outcomes or healing. These people were offered practical tools, my comforting energy and steady support to lead them to their own healing step by step. Their feedback showed me that my grounding presence and guidance really can make a difference in people's lives. Over the years, I’ve refined my approach, learned to blend science-based techniques with mindful practices to support stress relief, clarity, and long-term well-being. |
